Debunking the Myth of Global Warming Caused by Human Activity

Posted on Jun 2nd, 2008 by Gypster : Revolutionary Revolutionist Gypster
We’ve all heard about Global Warming, Climate Change and Climate Shift. We understand what this means, so I will not take the time to explain and define it. I am not in denial of its existence or its effects. I have seen them first hand.

I will, however, take the time to express my thoughts on responsibility. By writing this, I do not imply that a change is not needed in our social and economic habits to become more “green” or to explore alternative energy sources. I am in fact an advocate of several things, which for some reason or another have not been mainstream, including:

•    Tesla’s free energy (Yes, it is very real, but to discuss it here would detract from the main point I am trying to make in this writing.)
•    Cold Fusion
•    Geothermal, Tidal, Wind and Solar Energy

While I am listing these, I may as well list the ones I am on the fence about or I do not advocate:

•    Hydrogen/Fuel Cells
•    Natural Gas
•    Coal
•    Ethanol/Biofuels
•    Recycling of waste material to become fuel

I will wait till I am again inspired to write so get into why I do not advocate or am unsure about the last list. (questions are always welcome)

Now that that statement has been made, I can continue.

As for the myth that Global Warming is caused by our hands, I will point to the following things:
•    Sunspot cycles and variations  in brightness
•    Jupiter and Saturn’s eccentric orbits
•    Earth’s ‘wobble’
•    Siberian Flats Eruption in the Permian Period

I will not bore you with long scientific explanations. I will include links so you can bore yourself silly with them.

I write this because I am truly concerned about the way in which Global Warming is presented to us. Those who usually speak of the causes of Global Warming speak in absolutes of us being the sole cause and us needing to do something about it by switching to lower greenhouse gas emission fuels.

It is my personal understanding that when someone speaks to me in absolutes or dogmatically; I should take what they say with a large boulder of salt and find out for myself what is and is not true, within the scope of my abilities.

You see, 1000 years ago, humans were told (in absolutes, mind you) that the world was flat and the sun, moon and planets traveled around earth within crystal spheres. We know better than this now.

Sun Spot cycles and Variations in Brightness

Since sometime in the 1700’s, sunspots have been observed. And during our observations, we’ve come to understand that the sun goes through an 11-year cycle of sunspot activity.
Now, these 11-year cycles can vary within larger spans of time, so we can think about how this could affect climate here on earth.

There is also a larger cycle, which can span hundreds of years. The sun isn’t always at the same brightness.

When the sun is at a point when it has lots of sunspots, it is in a period of very, very slight cooling in those areas but intense electromagnetic activity. The opposite is true for less sunspots; it’s slightly warmer with less electromagnetic activity.

During the sun’s higher sun spot period, its electromagnetic field intensifies and helps to block cosmic radiation and charged particles from entering the earth’s atmosphere. These two things from outer space contribute to the formations of clouds, which block some solar radiation, including heat.

It’s interesting to note here that Venus lacks a global magnetic field that would block cosmic rays. And Venus is very, very cloudy. (Yet this doesn’t explain why it’s so hot there nor am I making that argument)

Jupiter and Saturn’s Orbit eccentricities

Both of these planets have enormous electromagnetic presences in our solar system. To ignore their influence on Earth would be folly.

Every planet has an irregular, or eccentric orbit. This means that over time, the planet doesn’t orbit over the same elliptic as it did in the past. It may be closer or further away from the sun and us.

These two planets have such great magnetic fields; they no doubt have at least some influence on the cosmic rays reaching earth. I have not found much evidence to support this, only that they are big planets with huge electromagnetic fields. Any scientists out there with some information on this?

Earth’s Eccentric Orbit and Wobble

We must think about earth’s own changing orbit and wobble upon it’s own axis over long periods of time when we think of climate change. This is one of the major sources of climate change throughout natural history, besides large volcanic and asteroid events. We can’t just skim over this.

Siberian Flats Eruption in the Permian Period

You may or may not know that 250 million years ago there was a super massive eruption. This eruption lasted 1 million years, was over 400,000 square miles and caused and estimated climate change of 10 degrees Celsius. It also killed 95% of life on earth, though it’s wasn’t the heat that killed them, it was the billions of tons of ash and toxic gasses coupled with an extreme volcanic winter that killed all that life.

May I mention here that Mt. St. Helens released an amount of energy equivalent to 27000 Hiroshima-sized nuclear weapons and ejected more than 1 cubic mile of material?

The proponents of human caused global warming that in the next 100 to 150 years estimate a global temperature increase of 6 degrees Celsius.

Is it just me, or is something not adding up?

I cannot explain the importance of this understanding enough. Someone speaking dogmatically or in absolutes usually means they have an agenda. For me to speculate upon those agendas would detract from the message here:

Global Warming has happened before and it will happen again in the distant future, after the inevitable cooling that’s coming our way very slowly. This is a natural process. It happens, and is nothing to be scared about. Everything will be right as rain, I assure you.

Again, I would like to emphasize that I am all for alternative means of energy production. I am 100% for very, very low cost and free energy. I am not for “lower emission fuels” and the like, since large corporations outside the reach of our votes will still regulate them. Energy should be provided to a society that depends upon it by the society itself and not by for-profit corporations.

Love and Light, my Angelic friends,
Gypster
